squad was Orinda Dawson.

The 1967 Gladiette , more commonly referred to as Porn
Pon girls, increa ed their number to 16 thi year. The
girl
tarted the year a flag girl and twirler , but also
performed durin~ football game .
During basketball cason their work chan~ed to concert
routines, pep a emblie , and half time show . Thi year
the group showed their versitality by doing an a ortment
of dance routine . Among the e were a "Little Girl and
Boy" routine, a Mexican routine, and a cowboy routine.

Widefield will have its fir t swim team next year. A numof Gladiators have been hard at work thi year to prepare
for the introduction of the port. There are many outstanding S\'&gt;immer in the group and it looks as though they
will be able to hold their own in competition with other
chool .

worked for lifesaving certificates, practiced syncronized
swimming, and erved a Junior Leader by assisting the
