let's live it.
Love is strong

Peace is priceless let's keep it.
The past is done

Our work is here;
let's do it.

can make our lives sublime. And, departing, leave behind us footprints on
the sands of time.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
That which is past is gone and irrevocable and wise men have enough
to do with things present and to come;
therefore they do but trifle with themselves that labor in past matters.
Francis Bacon
Finish each day and be done with

some blunders and absurdities no

The Gl d fought long and hard for a number one position
thi eason, but they fell short to Cheyenne Mountain. Factors urrounding thi mis at the top spot included injured

The 1970 Cross Country season was a learning eason
for the Glad Harriers. Incoming coach, Mike McCarty
has a young enthusiastic team to work with. The team
consisted of two seniors, three sophomores, with juniors
supplying the primary force. With only four returning
runners, the Gladiators did their best to make the season
winning one. The Glads finished third in league while
Tony Lukavitch qualified for State. Although the young
team lacked experience this year, next year promises a
probable league championship and sport a good chance
toward a state championship. Placed by co-captains
Vince Vogt and Tony Lukavitch, the Glads stood undefeated on their home course, including the route of
SCL power house, Mitchell. One of the Glads' more
enjoyable experiences was the downing of the 103
enchildas, 35 tacos, and over 60 beverages, after the
Aurora Invitational at the Fiesta Cantina Restaurant
in Aurora. Aside from this, the Harriers will next year
take to the hills and roads and make the 1971 season a

The counseling department builds a record of your work, aptitudes,
