everyone seemed to be outside. They hung out with

They decided to travel across the world, visiting different

"I traveled to Spain and Italy with the Spanish

felt more cultural. The bigger cities just felt like a

From walking all over the country,

One student didn't need to go with a foreign language department to
travel to another country. She and her family traveled across the pond to the
land of royalty and British accents.
"We traveled all around the island," said senior Julia Mortensen, about
her trip to England. "We went all around London and saw 221 Baker Street, a
Sherlock Holmes Museum." She saw many phone boxes that she described
as a "hobo's bathroom."
"I also went to the Gloucester Cathedral where the first two Harry
Potter movies were filmed. We also went body boarding in Cornwall , and we
saw Big Ben , which is A LOT bigger in person." Julia was very proud of her
British background and loved every bit of her stay in the U.K.

Going back to school can be nerve racking , especially if you're
an incoming freshman . Everyone knows how stressful it can
be to find classes, make friends, and to know which bathroom
mirrors have the best "selfie" lighting. Although , our freshmen
were assisted by some older and wiser students to give ease
with the process. This help was given by our very own Link
Crew.
"Link was a good opportunity. I know how scary it was at first
not having friends," David Feenstra (1 0) from the A Team, (a
smaller branch of Link Crew) explained.
"I feel like I bonded with my leaders," said Nepolian
Weddle (9), "I liked having older friends to help me out."
That was the goal of Link Crew, to make the new students feel
comfortable with their peers.
According to Daishanae Moore (9) , her experience with Link
Crew helped her out of her shell and with making friends.
Link Crew provided a bond between the freshman and their
leaders; it gave the new Glads a better outlook on school
knowing that they will always have a friend or two who would
help guide them on their first year of high school.

Dressed in
certain themes,
Link leaders and
freshmen became a
team and showed
their pride. It was a
tour that will always
be remembered.

As you sat in advisory with nothing to do, you began to think about

"We're not just there at orientation, we're here for the freshman all

High school was pretty frightening and overwhelming for
many students. There were plenty of ways that someone could
become stressed or find themselves in a predicament.
"I get stressed when it comes to getting all my work done,
especially while trying to balance my time with sports and other
activities." said Caleb Tubbs (12) .
Pencils, spiral notebooks, and paper were all things that
you needed to get through a day of high school. Without these,
you probably experienced getting in trouble with a teacher for
being unprepared.
"I come prepared so that I don't get in trouble or have to
bother people for whatever it is that I forgot." explained Margie
Valdez (9).
But aside from being prepared and knowing what to do
and what not to do, it was essential to make sure you brought your
brain with you everyday. Without your brain, survival would be
nearly impossible.

In such a close knit community, traditions have gone from
generation to generation. From things we wear to events we
attend, they're all equally important.
"Spirit Day Fridays are my favorite because I get to wear
jeans and I like seeing everyone supporting Widefield." answered
Mrs. Rottman. While some people wore the gear, others were not
so concerned with their appearance. They wanted to show off
their talents.
"I love the beat box competition because I think it's cool seeing all
the hidden talents at Widefield." said Jaron Clark (11 ).
Every year students had several traditions to participate in.
Traditions were not only an event people did, but it was also
something students wore. Once students lettered, many bought
a letterman jacket. "At first I was going to letter in cross country,
but I hurt my knee. But now I have my letter on JROTC, for the
rank of chief and a 3.0 GPA. You also have to be on a JROTC
affiliated team for two semesters. It takes dedication and drive."
said Breanna Hilkemeier (12}.
There was only one tradition we can participate in once. "I love
how Widefield graduates in our own gym because we're one of
the few schools that do that. Also I get to graduate where my mom
and sister did." explained Katy Schuerkamp (1 0}.
Graduating in Bower's gym has been going on for twenty plus
years. By far it has been the most praised event. Traditions can
usually be taken for granted, but our close community has a big
place in our hearts for annual, monthly, or even weekly events.

year. While not everyone got in costumes for this holiday, we all got to enjoy the people who did.
Teachers, administrators, and students all came together to admire this spooky day.
With the vast variety of costumes, students naturally chose their favorites.
"My favorite costume was probably the duck dynasty guy." said Sarah Dudley {10).
"My favorite was this guy dressed up as Sheldon from Big Bang theory." explained Cheyenne Childers

Homecoming is not just a dance or a tradition, but a way

have fun with the people they care about. The dance had plenty of
decorations and lights, matching the theme: Galaxy.
" I liked all the decorations; the lights, the TVs, the streamers, the
dance was well decorated." stated Alexis Athena Wyatt (11 ).
This year's Homcoming assembly included a variety of competitions
and performances. " My favorite part of the assembly was the
couples challenge, it was really cute." said Kayla Yadao {11 ).
During the class competition, the sophomores won, "by throwing as
many cheeseballs," said Manny Santiago {1 0). All classes competed
with each other while having fun at the same time.
The drumline did a phenomenal job, playing the school cadences.
" Playing in front of everyone with the drumline was fun and
exhilarating." said Aaron Johnson (11 ).
The cheerleaders also performed a dance routine that was energetic
and coordinated. So what is it like to be at an assembly exactly?
Laura Coleman {12) says, " It's exciting, and energetic and I love it."
Overall Homecoming has turned into a memorable and an out of
world experience. Much was fathomed at the dance and assmebly
and much more is to be uncovered in the future.

The Homecoming
assembly created a scene of pride

Everyone had so much energy, and they took it to the football
game. "It was a really tough game, but I still had a lot of fun." Caleb

"The ending was probably my favorite part because we
started scoring and the crowd became involved, and everyone on the

When 1t comes to spirit, Widefield went all out, even when it

Almost everyone participated, even most of the teachers.

the students and teachers, ranging
from car bashes to throwing water

Every year, the band program would greatly expand. It was a place

"Our band grows more and more each year. All of the people I have

Band was the backbone of school spirit. The drumline played
cadences at all our pep assemblies and leads the Widefield athletes
through the halls so all the students recognize them .
"The band is non-dicriminate. We apprecciate all sports for their hard
work and intriczcies, and that is our spirit."
explained Trenton Robinson (12}.
The marching band played at every home football game and the pep
band played at the home basketball games. They played everything
from the Star-Spangled Banner, to band cheers, to pump up the
crowd, and of course, the school's fight song.
"We love playing all of our pep music! When we finish each song, the
crowd always cheered. Athletes played better at their games when the
band was there to pump them up with spirit and positivity," exclaimed
Sammie Rosenbaum (12) .
The band continued to grow every year and shows the upmost school

keep up the energy at sporting events. Not only the students, but the

Many students at Widefield listened to the genre of music that was mostly played at Warped; pop punk, posthardcore, metal/metal-core. If you noticed, many of our fellow Glads sport their favorite band-tees; Sleeping with Sirens,
Pierce the Veil, Of Mice and Men, White Chapel, etc. These small tokens of dedication seemed to go unnoticed by most

Barnwell (9) told us, "I would crash into a Starbucks." But until
then she'll be asking her parents for rides.
Speaking of rides , many students decided to name their
vehicles. "My car's name is 01' Reliable Bernard. I got his name
one day when I was rapping; My truck goes hard, his name is
Bernard. " rapped Kris Guerra (11 ).
Whether you named your car or not or wished you can even
owned a car, let alone a license; cars will always be the talk of the
town. So buckle up, roll down those windows, and drive safe. And
please don't text or talk on the phone while on the road .

Above : Kelly Phalavong (12), Thalizia Rodrigues (12), and
Kristiana Marinova (12) are getting ready to go home.
They often rode home together. "Kristiana and I drive
home and talk in the car for an hour in front my house."
Thalizia Rodrigues said.
Right: Danielle Harvey (12) and Shannon Duncan (12) walk

don't know how to drive .. .at all." Shannon Duncan
announced.

makes a car unique? The bumper stickers a person puts on their car is what makes a

Let's jump all the way back to when the math hall was just
a wall of windows and the counseling center was nothing but an
open field . About 54 years ago, Widefield first opened their doors
to its first batch of students. Kids roamed the hallways we walked
on, talking about typing their papers and sharing their favorite
records.
During the first couple of years after the grand opening,
the 9th graders were a part of high school. Then they were put into
middle school until 1997! To Nathan Nguyen (11) freshman are a
good part to our school , "There would be a lot of fights between
the 8th and 9th graders if they were still in middle school." Since
1997, freshmen chatted amongst the upper class men about the
lastest fads and showed off their new clothes.
People in the 60's saved their money for a television with
only three channels. Now we have more than 500 channels with
Netflix and various social media sites that feature videos.
"We can afford more." Steven Starke (1 0) said, "Just keepin' up

And as the years went by, technology expanded,
people wanted, and they continued to get it.

Many students went to the stadium to watch their favorite
fall sport while eating popcorn, nachos, or even candy. They
weren't just there for the food though, they were there for
football of course!
This year there was a whole new C-Squad coaching staff
which included Mr. Contrell, Mr. Threadgill, and Mr. Cooper.
"When someone messes up, you pat them on the back. They
will do better next time," encouraged Mr. Contrell.
Positivity was a main issue the team struggled with, but was
reminded that once obtained, productivity would soon follow.
"It was a year we grew as coaches and a team," explained
Coach Bergin.
With the many changes and new coaches, some arguments
erupted, but over time they solved themselves.
This year the football team wasn't as successful as anyone
hoped for, but with determination and hard work on the off
season, they would be unstoppable in the future.

Inspiration was key when it came to football , especially when it
came to Widefield's younger players. Playing on C-Squad and
Junior Varsity meant that you're just steps away from Varsity and
college football. Younger players must put in endless time and
dedication in order to achieve the higher status.
"You push yourself and your teammates. You have to stay in the
weight room and constantly and eat right. Health is a key factor,"
explained Anthony Wann , a Junior Varsity player. (1 0)
Health wasn't the only factor that drove Widefield's players,
family also played a crucial role .
"My brother inspired me in football. He was supposed to be a
star, but he messed his life up. I want to show that I can go far
in school and in football ," expressed Dezmond Jeans, also a
Junior Varsity player. (1 0)

This was a very unique season because there were 13 seniors

and others since their sophomore year. With this much dedication on the
team, the girls knew that they had to give it their all. Their work ended up
paying off because seven of the seniors went to the All Star Game.

After losing so many strong seniors last year, we knew
that this season was going to be an uphill battle. With this thought
going through the players' minds, we started the season with high
expectations.
During kick arounds, Kevin Gudino (12) said, "This season is
going to be rough. We have a lot of catching up to do." He wasn't the
only one to say this. The defense played a flat four and was struggling
with keeping possession. No one played together before and we were
far from a team.
After a few wins and losses, we started to come together.
During the team dinners are where we began to bond. Austin Widner
(1 0) said, "Forget what everyone says, this season has just started!"
This inspired us to improve on our skills and to play strong. We have
taken this season game by game since. Winning and losing we built,
improved and kept moving forward.
"Day by day, until we can't be beat, won't be beat!" said Falah
Mohammad (12) in a prayer that we recited before each game. We
have adapted to this, live by it, and will take with us as we continue on
with life.
Losing became winning, team became family, and soccer
became life. This season has proven that we can overcome anything
no matter what the odds or what people say. Anticipating a tough year
ended up inspiring our team.

The 2013-2014 volleyball season started out strong with
seven seniors on the varsity team who had a lot of experience.
Though this season had it's highs and lows, the team stuck
together and pushed to end the season with a winning streak!
Volleyball started in the month of June and went through
until the end of October. All of the girls became really close
during this time. Caiti Raymond (12) said, "I couldn't ask for a
better team , I'm lucky that I got to compete with these girls."\
The coaches pushed them to their limits.
"This season showed us a lot of who was physically and
mentally there, coming to the end of the season; you could tell
that a lot of us had improved," said Jasleen Jones. (12)
Volleyball , though a lot of people don't see it, is a
challenging sport. Relying on one another in all aspects in the
game meant that we were forced to put all of our trust into each
other. Shamari Lewis (11) said, "I wish this season did not have
to end because the girls on this team, they're like family."
"Girls, we worked hard this season. Granted it was not
a spectacular season on the charts, but I think that we can all
agree that we still enjoyed the season. I'm so grateful that I got
to spend my last season with you guys!"

Volleyball isn't just a simple sport; it's a balance of
tradition, teamwork, and the motivation to be the best.
Without the bond that all sports require, the team
wouldn't have been able to function.
"Great," was how Margie Valdez (9) described
the season. "All our teammates are awesome. At first,
we didn't know each other; now we're all close." The
girls had chances to bond with one another on the bus to
games, during practice, and cheering for their teammates
and watching them play, as they have done for every
match.
Watching and cheering wasn't the only tradition the
girls's volleyball team had; "We have a dodgeball game
that occurs at the last practice of the season." Makynzie
Holleran (1 0) explained. The final dodgeball game
represents the closing of a season well done, and the
teams last chance to play as a unit and to motivate.
Motivation was the key to the team's trust in each other.
Hazel Wallace (11) said, "Our motivation was each
other. We would pick each other up and acknowledge
something that each person had accomplished to show
them that they are important to the team and to keep
trying."
To these players, volleyball is life, not just a sport. Their
teammates are their sisters, and the court is their home.
Volleyball has a deeper connection to the players, and is
an enormous part of their everyday life.

Before school started, you might have seen those kids running
and running and running! Cross Country was that one unrecognized
sport. Everyone looked it. But this year...we were undoubtfully loud.
"Our team has grown stronger and prouder due to our
environment change, we were more work based, but it was fun", said
Hector Madrigal (11).
Mediocracy was odd to me. With incoming freshmen, I was
nervous our teams had dwindled down, especially our girls' team. Our
new runners didn't let us down!
Samantha Howell (9) was our fastest girl runner this year. She
was crazy fast. Maximilliano Martinez (9) was one of our state's fastest
freshman and Matthew Arbegast (9) was right up there with him.
"I've always liked running, it's something I'm good at and it's an
easy sport that keeps you busy", said
Matthew Arbegast (9).
Our culture has changed . We used to be those kids who just got
together and ran. But we made sure people heard us this year. For most,
people stuck with us. We bonded so much this year. We learned to push
each other more and farther every day. Cross Country wasn't something
that you could just go through the motions with. Ask any member on our
team, we kicked butt on a daily basis!

There was nothing like the feeling of a tennis ball
connecting with your racket and the ball zooming away,
arching over the net, bouncing on the other side after a long

my college debut is yet to come," said Caleb Kahre (12).
Tennis is not just a sport, it's a stress reliever. It's something
that anybody and everybody can play. It's not about winning to
everyone, it's mainly about playing their best at all times.

Golf is a calming sport for the mind, body, and soul.
Golf might look easy but its more than just swinging a ball into
a hole that counts. Everybody gets nervous before competition
and everybody does something to overcome it.
According to Cameron Skalla (9), "I chew on a
tree before each match, so I do not seem nervous to my
competitions." All golf players do something to overcome a
nervous feeling. Jarred Hutchinson (9) said, " Before each

Followed by each competition, everybody had that favorite
buddy to play during practice or even during their free time.
Cameron Skalla (9) said, "I like playing with everyone on my
team because I am able to get help if I am struggling in the

There were also favorite positions that golf players played
during a match. Jarred Hutchison (9) announced, " We played

Cheerleaders have been around for decades, always proving to be a
beacon of school spirit and enthusiasm. Though the cheerleaders have
updated their routines to be more modern, the underlying message
has never changed; the performances must always be able to get an
audience going.
By performing at games, events, and assemblies, the girls
exhibited their dedication to the sport. Alexis Morgan (10) said,
"Cheerleading means everything to me; it takes up most of my time. My
whole world revolves around it."
The season for cheerleading wasn't of a traditional length for
sports. From the beginning of the school year, right up to the last game,
expectations are high for the team and individual. Devotion to practice
and to the team is a trait that every girl has to have.
A careful balance of tradition and hard work brings out the best
in every cheerleader, and anyone who watches understands the extent
of the girls' devotion to the sport.

Winter. It was that time of the season where the
guppies and sharks came out to swim. All were hoping to land a
spot on the swim team. Little did they know that no one gets cut,
but at any moment could have been dismissed off the team.
This year I got to go to State with the girls, and let me
be the first to say that these State girls didn't play! It was so
serious that one of the coaches made a funny remark and said,
"We aren't swimming with girls, we are swimming with men,
just look at them." It was true though! A lot of the girls had a
more masculine build, which showed off in their awesome State
times.
Aside from swim meets and the requirement of
dedication and perserverance, Phoenix LaBarr (1 0) explained
how it meant to her. She said, "Swimming had become like a
second life for me and the team a second family. I'm going to
miss it a lot and will definitely be swimming again next year."
It was worth every moment, but it was important to
make sure you just had fun and enjoyed yourself while also
being serious in what you were doing. This year of swimming
was my last year but was probably the best year of swimming
for me. All I have to say is that it's been great and that I'm going
to miss my swim girls. I will for sure miss my three awesome
coaches, Schurz, Knutson, and Rumple.

The Widefield High School Swim and Dive Team was
a new addition to our sports program and the Mesa Ridge
sports program . Not many people knew that there was a
swim team, but it was not hard to believe since it was only our
second season after an 8 year drought (pun intended).
"It was my first year swimming on the team, but I
started liking it more and more as time passed along, I really
enjoyed diving," explained Matt Charbonneau (11 ).
Our team, headed up by Coaches Jeff Schurz and
Mary Mullikan, was fairly raw this year with a lot of freshmen
and sophomores who had never swam before. Not to mention,
the seniors came out for the heck of it.
lan Morton (9) said, "I like swimming, and I loved
everything about it. From the meets to traveling, to just
hanging out with my teammates. It was a cool experience."
But in a couple of years, with young but natural talent like Josh
Canada and Jacob Horwath, both of which are from Mesa
Ridge, I believed we could make State easily if we continued
to work hard and better out time and relays.

The wrestling team
light of both the
girls and boys basketball teams. We run hard for thirty minutes
to start off our practice, then we work on technique for an hour,
and to top it off, we either wrestle live or do conditioning, both
of wh1ch build up an intense sweat in the overheated wrestling
room.
The season was decent this year with a team dual record
of 6-3, but we are always in "pursuit of perfection" and are
looking forward to a great group of freshmen next year and an
undefeated season.
The team was a fairly tight-knit group this year, made so by the
fact that we were all united in our love-hate relationship of the
everyday, full-body workout that we endured as a team. This
bonding was furthered when the team held an overnighter in
the wrestling room. We ate-- which was quite a rarity during
the wrestling season-we wrestled around for a bit, and then we
relaxed and watched a few inspirational wrestling movies. In
the morning, we had former Widefield graduates and wrestlers
DJ and Devin Hightower came to teach us what it took to
become the collegiate athletes that they are today.
All in all, this wrestling season was a success and I'm
looking forward to next year's season as a senior and a captain
of the wrestling team.

Playing basketball, especially in high school, takes extreme
confidence. The pressure to be up to par with last year's team
and exceed all that was accomplished was a great challenge,
but not so much for varsity this year.
"Before this year, I played the post and nothing else, but over
the summer I got the confidence to play any position. The
pressure just comes with being an athlete,"
explained Brandon Branch (11 ).
This season there were no seniors on the team. That means
the younger players had to step up their game. This required
harder practices to push the team to be better not only on, but
off the court too.
"I was given 100 push-pads because of an accident that
happened in our game, but my team helped me do them,"
described Jymon Garretson ( 11).
"Getting to play varsity was a personal accomplishment of mine,
since I chose not to play last year,"
told Adrienne Hampton (11 ).
Being on varsity doesn't just mean that you're a good player. It
meant that you had spirit and endurance to go to every practice
and play your hardest at every game. That same endurance to
pick yourself up after every fall and to learn from every loss. It
requires such strength to shoot and score.

Your teammate passes you the ball and you run down the court. You
notice you have the perfect spot to get that winning point, but your mind
wonders that if you shoot this ball, you will be the person to lose the game.
The feeling of the crowd on edge; all of their eyes watching your every
move, the sweat dripping down your face as you glance at the scoreboard.
Your team, your family, are rooting for you take that winning shot. You take
in a breath, and as you breathe out- you shoot. The gym is so silent that
you can hear your heart beating in your own ears, watching the ball in the
air. SWOOSH! Everybody screams and the crowd goes wild!
The Junior Varsity and C-Squad boys had various moments such as this.
"Making a three," was Travis Rader's (9) best memory on the court. With
every chance that they took, these guys proved that they can slam dunk
in any situation.
But the points weren't they only moments that mattered, both teams
bonded and started becoming more of a family. "It feels like family on the
court." Damien Hayhurst (9) replied, "I love basketball." These were the
moments that made up the C-Squad and Junior Varsity team.

Hardwork, dedication, and teamwork was what made up the girls'
basketball team. Every week there was a new goal to be met. Every
day we pushed ourselves to get better, so that the team which was
playing out on the court, was the absolute best. For four of us, this
was our last, "hooraah," our last time playing in that gym, wearing
the jerseys with Widefield written across our chests, and the last time
playing with one another on our high school varsity basketball team.
"It's surreal that this is the last time I'll be wearing this jersey,
and that I'll be on that court." expressed Haley Laughlin.
As a freshman, you don't think of how quickly the years go by.
Throughout the years, we have had some really good moments and
some not so good moments, but because of those moments, we have
shaped into the team we are today.
"It's unreal to think that this is the last year playing with this team
on this court. It doesn't really hit you until you're standing in the
moment," stated Kelly Phalavong.
It's all about moments. In which you walk out and step a foot on the
court, your aderaline pumping, mind racing. A moment in which you
will remember forever and look back on down the road. It's a moment
where you never think it will be the end, but when the end comes,
you look back and think, "Man, I can't believe it's over." I have had
many moments these four years, and it's very sad that it has come to
an end. However I'm happy to have shared those moments with my
teammates, every single one.

THEAP
Students who decide to take the AP plunge are in for an entirely different experience from regular
classes. AP gives students a college-based learning environment, where they are held to higher
standards and more "adult" behavior. "In AP classes, you need to be prepared all the time, be
focused, and not goof around." Desdemona Neal (11) said. Although the environment is harder
on students, so is the actual curriculum. "It's harder content, and it's time consuming. It's a lot
more work." Skylar Deutsch (11) stated. The rigor does take a toll on those who are learning, and
those who wish to achieve higher, like Molly Lindsey (11), have taken multiple classes; Molly has
taken five. Taking AP classes gives students a massive advantage in college, due to the credits being
transferrable, and simply by taking these classes in high school, students can save literally thousands
of dollars they would've spent by taking them in college.

You were our last miracle and what a beautiful surprise.
The f1rst time I saw you I fell in love with you and alii
wanted to do was look into your eyes. I remember your
first day of preschool when you were walking into class
and now you're a semor that time went by so fast. As
I reflect on the time that's past my eyes well up with
tears, I'm so thankful I was home throughout those
toddler years. When I look at you I still can see my baby
girl so sweet and now you are so stunning, awesome
and unique. You are a strong beautiful woman and all
you'll do is grow, I love you so very much how much
you'll never know.

17 years ago I thought that I was only going to have a
boy and a girl and that was it. My life was not going very
well, but god decided to g1ve me the greatest gift, YOU! I
remember holding you for the first time thinking WOW,
I love her. From that day on my love has grown for you
every day and every minute. I remember one time
when I was giving you a bath and I said Danna promise
me you will never grow up, then you said ok. Well I'm
glad you broke your promise. You have grown into such
a beautiful, intelligent and loving young woman I just
can't wa1t to see what is next. So promise me you will
keep growing and loving, so not just me and your mom,
but the whole world can be blessed by the same g1ft,
YOU!
Love you moistest- Daddy
Boog1e,

when we try it turns into a silly little fight. I'm very
proud of the woman you have become and the accomplishments you have made wish we had a better
relationship along the way. Now that we are older and
wiser hopefully we will change love you more than you
think even though I'm terrible at showing it. Congrats
booger. I'm so proud of you!!

The 2014 baseball tryouts was an
intense week for everyone. A total of 19 athletes
tried out, knowing only 14 would stay to play.
Only the players with great attitude, best of skills,
and who were hardworking stayed on the team.
Baseball was a game of chance. Anything could
have happened at any given moment. We as a
team, made sure to jump on those moments. It
was a great experience playing with these guys.
No team could ever replace any of them ... l've
come to love everything about baseball because
of the team, all the guys I can call family.

To some they were just numbers. To runners, it was
hours of dedication and training. It was pushing
yourself to the absolute limit in order to reach
goals set so high that only true ambition can reach.
Widefield power wasn't just about moving forward,
it was about not letting anyone or anything hold you
back. Whether it was running or any of the other
events, ambitious Glads constantly made magic
happen.

I would have never thought I would experience prom
queen . .. never in a million years. When my name
was called, April 5th , 2014 at 10:00 p.m. that was the
night that I realized, I could accomplish anything that
I put my mind to. At the end of the day, it wasn't about
who was more popular, or who was better; to me, it
was about the experience. It wasn't about the feeling
of knowing that people would envy who I am. I did this
for me, not to prove that I'm better than people.

Well guys, it all comes down to this. It's not
about the coach, it's not about the scores, or the
mistakes, it's about the team . The people who
are there for you through your wins, your losses,
your bad, and your good days. The ladies on the
field are what made this season. We had major
ups and downs, but I wouldn't have wanted to
spend it with anyone other than these girls. We
couldn't have asked for a better team.

Tennis is straight up an intense sport. You

four underclassmen came up to varsity, us
seniors felt threatened. We kept to ourselves and
didn't let the new g irls into our inner circle, but
we soon realized that they weren't all that bad.
From bonding at out weekly Taco Bell lunches,
to laughing with the coach, we have become
a family. These are my sisters and Greibel is the
best mom any of us could ask for. This season will
not be forgotten

It has been
awesome working
with all these
people and it has
been a pleasure to
know them.

Yearbook was filled with superb
members, beating the occasional
sleep deprived mornings by cracking
up jokes and working on this yearbook
to please our classmates. I love this
class and everyone in it.

Aaahh yearbook. Where would
I be without these people. I've
made some amazing friends :) I
know everyone of you will go far. I
love all of you with a big ol' heart.
Don't forget to smile. You're all
BEAUTIFUL!!!:)

Yearbook for me was
an amazing way to
end high school with ..
I made great friends
and memories while
creating an awesome
yearbook.

These last couple years with this group
have been fantastic. All the shenanigans,
and yelling for SO cards, captions,
pictures, sales ptiches - it's been
madness. Something that's gonna be
very difficult to leave behind. Stay frosty
everyone. Love and peace.

Yearbook was an adventure.
I've met some interesting
people and interviewed some
not so... but let's be real, our
yearbook class is family. A
mixed up, yet lovable little
bunch.

Yearbook has been an amazing
experience for me. I loved taking
pictures around the school and going
to events; capturing moments that will
be remembered for years to come. I got
more involved in school and met a lot of
new, amazing people.

We would like to thank the following: Camille, Ms.

Yearbook has always been a love !
Meeting people, taking pictures,
everything has really been such
an amazing experience. I' ll
forever be thankfu l for all the
memories I've made in here.

Throughout the year I've enjoyed my fellow peers
the staff, I'm happy I was able to help take
get quotes, and help others for the yearbook. I
the best of luck for the seniors, as they strive
their dreams, each and everyone has been kind
supportive. Without this experience, I wouldn' t h
grown fond and happy meeting new people.

These years have been some
of the best years simply
because of yearbook. I tried
to help the best I could with
creativity and imagination. I
enjoyed every moment of it.
